Former Rukungiri LC V Chairperson Athanasius Rutaro has been arrested today morning as voting for the District Woman MP goes on
Rutaro was arrested at Katobo trading centre as he made his way to Nyakagyeme to monitor polling day proceedings on behalf of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) candidate, Betty Muzanira.
Rutaro is currently being held at Rukungiri police station.
Voting started at 7am today though some polling centres had not yet received polling materials by that time.
