KAMPALA. If ever there were any doubts, Jas Mangat reminded the rally fraternity that he is still a strong force on the domestic scene after claiming the 4.8km Premier Rally Sprint held at Busiika on Sunday.
Mangat, a seventh place finisher at the KCB Safari Rally in Kenya earlier this month but who is rare on the domestic rally scene, clocked 09:21 minutes 36 seconds ahead of Arthur Blick/ Unissan Bakunda in a Subaru N12.
Driving a Mitsubishi Evo 9, Wycliffe Bukenya battled but was easily beaten by Mangat at the double circuit finishing third in a time 10:03 in the competition, also the third on the National Sprint Championship.
