KAMPALA.

Over the years, the Warriors - Shell Rimula Rhinos fixture has produced some memorable balanced games of rugby. That was until the latter broke the bank and beefed up their roaster.
The dividends were seen on the opening day of the season as they out-muscled Warriors 40-13.
The two face off this evening as the second round of the Nile Special Rugby Premiership rolls off at Legends. Rhinos might be stronger on paper but they are yet to earn Warriors’ respect, according to center Hillary Semussu.
“There is nothing really special about them,” said Semussu in a dismissive tone.
“Everyone in our side strongly believes we can beat them because we have done it before. They should also expect a tough game from us.”

Fourth on log
Rhinos sit fourth on the log with 26 points but it is evident coach Brian Makalama would have loved to see his side in a better position considering the fact that he was confident of delivering Rhinos a maiden league title this season.
“I want to win it all and I can,” Makalama told this paper at the beginning of the season.
He now has one target in the second round which is to take it one game at a time.
“We want to win the next game,” he said after Wednesday’s training session.
Warriors, 17 points, capped off an average first round with a 20-16 win over Mongers and that is the kind of form they plan to take into the second round.
