Kampala. It’s been a tough debut to the top flight for debutants Nyamityobora FC.
After gaining promotion, life was expected to be challenging but not as tough as it has proved to be.
Prior to the season opening game in Arua against Onduparaka on Thursday, preparations were overshadowed by resignations of the team chairman Emmanuel Yaramba and the deputy Chief Executive Officer Fred Akena.
Both claimed unfavourable working conditions.
Next was the refusal to host league games at Kakyeka stadium which Fufa found below the minimum standards.

“We must learn to adapt to this kind of life of playing very far from home but I am hopeful by the second round, the pitch in Kakyeka will be approved to host our home games. Training in Mbarara and playing in Kampala can make our players so tired,” Misagga told Daily Monitor.
Nyamityobora opened their campaign with a 2-0 loss to Onduparaka and will host Bright Stars on Wednesday.
