I review weekly tasks on Thurdays

What you need to know:

Multitsaking. Mable Namubiru is an environment assessment officer at National Environment Management Authority. She is also an entrepreneur, a farmer and student. She talked to Lawrence Ogwal about how she spends her week.

Monday
Every weekday, I am up by 5:45am. The first thing I do is pray to God for a better day, week and month before I step out of home. By 6:30am, I am in office. Monday is the busiest day of the week because I have a lot of work carried forward from Friday. We usually have meetings at the beginning of the week and midweek. I also receive and talk to many clients and staff in various departments. I am currently pursuing a postgraduate course and I attend lectures in the evenings.

Tuesday and Wednesday
I attend to office work and I make time to work on my courseworks. After work, I go for dance classes, where I catch up with friends.

Thursday
This is when I review the progress of my weekly tasks. Before I leave office, I ensure at least 80 per cent of the weekly targets I set on Mondays are accomplished. In the evenings, I go for comedy night.

Friday
This is another busy day at work. I call it a traffic because this is the day we receive many clients.

Saturday
This is when I go and visit my farm in Matugga. It is one way of enjoying nature and interacting with people at the farm. In the afternoon, I head to town to do shopping and salon.

Sunday
I go to Church and go back home to relax as I reflect and on tasks for the coming week. Once in a while, I go to the beach.

Titbits
I read Motivational novels, Mitchel Obama’s book -Becoming and also other inspirational career books relating to environment and conservation. I go to the beach, watch movies, go for shopping and take part in charity activities such as marathon and fundraising.
