Tears and sorrow gripped Nalungi Kalangalo village in Mityana district as the late Emmanuel Mayanja alias AK47 was laid to rest. The youngest of the Mayanja family today completed his journey on earth as his casket was lowered in his grave.

AK47 died on Tuesday night after he allegedly slipped and fell in a bathroom at Dejavu pub in Kansanga. However, a postmortem report released later on Thursday evening reveals that the deceased obtained a wound on his head, which was the likely cause of his death.

The police however, cannot confirm if the singer was beaten or the wound was obtained after the fall. Police was earlier holding the manager of the bar Mr Stephen Kisenyi to help in investigations.

Meanwhile President Museveni has pledged shs 10million to help in the completion of AK47’s house.
