MP Munyagwa takes over COSASE leadership today

Kawempe South MP Mubarak Munyagwa is today expected to assume office as the new chairperson of Parliament's committee on Commissions, Statutory Authorities and State Enterprises (COSASE).
Munywagwa will be taking over from Bugweri County MP Abdu Katuntu after waiting for close to a month.

Katuntu was last year dropped as chairperson by the FDC president Patrick Amuriat but the appointment has suffered a prolonged delay, causing unrest within the opposition.
Now that the report of the Bank of Uganda probe by Committee is already before Parliament, Katuntu will be handing over office at 2pm today.
