Kampala. Mike Mutebi dedicated part of his post-match press conference on Saturday by asking his side to get maximum points from the remaining three games to achieve their highest points tally since he returned to Lugogo.
His remarks pretty much summed up the state of affairs in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League as match-day 27 drew to a close.
KCCA hold a nine-point advantage over second placed Vipers with three games left after a come-from-behind 3-1 victory over traditional rivals Express at the StarTimes Stadium.
“It’s important that we win our remaining matches. We want to win the league with more points. We look at the last time we won the league and before.
This time our points must improve. It’s also important to win with more points. We cannot be complacent we must treat all our remaining matches as finals. Definitely we shall win the league,” Mutebi said afterwards.
