Sports Lizards fancy Man City

What you need to know:

Being the hunted this time round will take it’s toll on Jurgen Klopp’s men as Manchester City push relentlessly

Darren Allan Kyeyune
1.Liverpool
2.Manchester City
3.Chelsea
4.Manchester United
Reason. Liverpool still strong enough but they won’t be as dominant as last term.

Regina Nalujja
1.Liverpool
2.Arsenal
3.Chelsea
4.Manchester United
Reason. Liverpool will retain the title because they are still upbeat. Nothing much has changed in their squad. Meanwhile, Chelsea and Arsenal cannot be underestimated as the later have a capable coach in Mikel Arteta who has now gotten used to the team.

Ismail Dhakaba Kigongo
1.Manchester City
2.Liverpool
3.Chelsea
4.Manchester United
Reason. The meek failure from last season will hurt and fuel Man City. The additions at the back in Nathan Ake will help them defend better plus Ferran Torres brings variation if he gels quickly. I also think they will win because Liverpool do not have a squad big enough in terms of quality to go at this for a third straight year.

Elvis Senono
1.Liverpool
2.Manchester City
3.Manchester United
4.Chelsea
Reason. Liverpool are the most balanced team in the league currently. That could change depending on what Manchester City does in the transfer window between now and October.

John Batannude
1.Liverpool
2.Manchester City
3.Manchester United
4.Chelsea
Reason. Liverpool are a good side that have not lost any player during the transfer window. They can only build on the stability and consistency exhibited in the last two last seasons. Manchester City will also be under pressure to respond but Liverpool will defend the league title.

George Katongole
1.Manchester City
2.Liverpool
3.Manchester United
4.Arsenal
Reason. City is more stable and in a better place to compete than they were last season .Liverpool has a lot of weight on its shoulder interms of expectations which is likely to play against them .

Patrick Kanyomozi
1.Manchester City
2.Liverpool
3.Chelsea
4.Manchester United
Reason. City have the quality in their squad and the depth. They lost one of their best players of the past decade in David Silva but there is so much quality still left. Nathan Ake will bolster the defence and Ferran Torres just adds to the many attacking threats that were already there.

Marktum Muziransa
1.Manchester City
2.Liverpool
3.Manchester United
4.Chelsea
Reason. Pep should return with steam after the law of diminishing returns ate into them last season.

Deus Bugembe
1.Manchester City
2.Manchester United
3.Liverpool
4.Chelsea
Reason. City had a porous defence last year and it cost them. With Aymeric Laporte back and Nathan Ake in, they edge everyone else in terms of quality from the back to the front. It will be hard for Liverpool to replicate last season’s form while United will only get better .

Andrew Mwanguhya
1.Manchester City
2.Liverpool
3.Manchester United
4.Chelsea
Reason. City can’t sink lower than last season. Pep knows it’s the bare minimum owners will allow after sinking millions of dollars into the club and following the Champions League disappointment, again. If KDB and Aguero stay fit, City’s deep and quality squad giving an added impetus, they should force Liverpool to yield in. Winning their first in 30 years was monumental, defending it will be even harder. A wild claim here; should Man United add Jadon Sancho to their ranks, things could dramatically turn out different.

Innocent Ndawula
1.Manchester City
2.Chelsea
3.Liverpool
4.Manchester United
Reason. Liverpool showed proper social distancing as they cantered to victory with an 18-point procession. Being the hunted this time round will take it’s toll on Jurgen Klopp’s men as Manchester City push relentlessly. Pep Guardiola is destined to script some Premier League history with glory this season. Chelsea cannot be written off entirely, too, seeing how they are busier than the bee collecting nectar.

Denis Bbosa
1.Manchester City
2.Liverpool
3.Manchester United
4.Arsenal
Reason. Guardiola learnt a lot from last season’s frustrating performance that saw his team lose ten matches. He has galvanised the defence with Nathan Ake, replaced departing David Silva and Leroy Sane with Ferran Torres and will ask Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva to step up.  A good start and right balance with Champions League will enable Man City push Liverpool all the way.
