KAMPALA- In 2012, local rugby legend Allan Musoke played his last game for Betway Kobs but Legends was filled with nostalgia on Saturday as he replaced Conrad Mukwaya against Buffaloes for his first competitive game in close to seven years.

β€œIt’s a good feeling to be back and help out with developing the younger players in the side. If you realise, we have young wingers I want to work with to improve their game,” Musoke told Daily Monitor.

Musoke got a run in but unfortunately could not leave a mark on the game with a score like he did for fun back in the day.

All the same Kobs won the game 49-20, leapfrogging Dusupay Warriors into second place on the Nile Special Premiership.

He might not be able to deliver the goods like he used to but the wingers at the club will be grateful to have him around for his knowledge on the game.
Conrad Mukwaya, Justin Kimono, Norbert Okeny, Adrian Kasito, James Ijongat and Daniel Ortega have all at some stage played as wingers for Kobs this campaign, they will definitely love Musoke`s company.

An Africa Cup winner in 2007, record 22 tries for a league campaign, three time USPA rugby player, three time league MVP, six Uganda Cup and league winners` medals making an obvious candidate for the Uganda rugby hall of fame should one ever be put in place.

Musoke is not expecting routine playing time on his return despite feeling fit once again after years on the sidelines as a commentator.
