PANORAMA: How church conned several firms of Shs17 billion

Many construction firms that undertook work to build a number of churches across the country are owed 17bn shillings by Agape Church ministries, an NGO recently suspended by the NGO board on grounds of fraud. But why did these firms not undertake due diligence before they fell for a fake scheme? Many of the owners of these firms today are indebted, lost their property to foreclosures from commercial banks and Shylocks.
