But who says he isn’t either. It was third-time lucky for the man who is loved and loathed in equal measure as he won his first Tusker Uganda Open title after three years of choking in the final round.
In his way was 21-year-old Adolf Muhumuza, who beat fatigue after helping Uganda reclaim the Johnnie Walker East Africa Challenge Trophy in Entebbe a fortnight ago. His only undoing was the single shot he miscued and fell into the Kitante stream hence losing the sudden death playoff on No.12.
