Francis Ekalungar, 49, an accountant at Case Clinic in Kampala has been killed and his body burnt beyond recognition.
His body was discovered in Kajjansi, a city suburb of Kampala.

This came just a day after the Case Clinic management reported the case of missing person to Wandegeya police station on January 02, 2018.

This was after his managers did not receive any response from him when he was sent to deposit over Shs15m to the bank.

The Chief Executive Officer Case Hospital, Dr Kato Sebbale, confirmed Ekalungar’s death.

"It is true. Francis Ekalungar was our Accountant. He was killed in Kajjansi and his body burnt. Such a brutal death!” Dr Sebbale said.

“When he disappeared, we informed the police and the Flying Squad Unit commander Herbert Muhangi was personally involved in the search. It's sad and painful because Francis was like a brother to me and he had worked at Case clinic for 21 years, longer than myself. He was very committed," he added.
