Former Inspector General of Police, Gen Kale Kayihura on Tuesday failed to appear before Court Martial sitting in Makindye for further mention of his cases.
The embattled army general last week appeared before a seven-man military court chaired by Lt. Gen Andrew Gutti after close to 70 days in detention.
Gen Kayihura was charged with aiding and abetting the kidnapping by commission, repatriating Rwandan exile and refugees and Ugandan citizens to Rwanda between 2012 and 2016.
He was also accused of failing to protect war material by issuing arms to unauthorised persons including Boda Boda 2010 members led by jailed Abdallah Kitatta between 2010 and 2018.
He was subsequently granted bail on August 28, basing on his old age and poor health, with terms requiring him to report to court every first Monday of the month and not to leave the central districts of Wakiso and the capital Kampala.

The mention of his case was adjourned to Tuesday (today), but he was nowhere to be seen.
One of Gen Kayihura’s lawyers confirmed to reporters that his client would be in court on October 1.
