Mourners converge at Abiriga's home in Arua

ARUA- Dozens of people are converging at the home of fallen MP Ibrahim Abiriga to mourn the death of their legislator
Capt Stephen Arubaku, who once worked with Abiriga said: "We take this as an aggression against the people of Arua Municipality and Madi."

Abiriga’s inconsolable wife Ms Sijal Amina has refused to speak to journalists.

The Chairman of Uganda Muslim Supreme Council in Arua, Hatib Juma, said the death of Abiriga is a big loss because he was an instrumental person who worked for the development of his area.

The State Minister for Internal Affairs, Mr Mario Obiga Kania, it is sad for a Member of Parliament to “die in such a manner".
