Bul expose cracks in KCCA but fall in Super 8 opener

KAMPALA-At the end of the first Pilsner Fufa Super 8 game at the StarTimes stadium on Saturday, it can be fair to say, all parties departed with what they deserved.

KCCA triumphed 3-2 over visiting Bul but despite the victory were exposed by the resilient visitors before progressing to the semifinals of the eight-team preseason tournament.

The reigning Uganda Cup champions who have again recruited massively in the off season took a 3-0 lead after goals at the start of each half from the lively Allan Kyambadde and Muzamir Mutyaba before a beautifully curled Mustafa Kizza freekick.

“What we’re trying to play, most of these players in Uganda are not used to having the ball, sometimes when they over have it they don’t know what to do with it. By they’re supposed to be subjected to such scenarios,” Mutebi said of his side’s bright start and late collapse.
