Spanish La Liga
The first two rounds of games have left question marks hanging over both Barcelona and Real Madrid, with Barca kicking off badly with a loss away to Athletic Bilbao before recovering in magnificent style.
Italian Serie A
All eyes will be on Allianz Stadium when Juventus and Napoli face each other in the Serie A derby. The Neapolitans are determined to put an end to Juve’s dominance in the Italian top flight and a victory over the Bianconeri will see them keep their hopes of winning the Scudetto alive.
German Bundesliga
Borussia M’gladbach and Leipzig face each other at Stadion im Borussia-Park in what is expected to be one of the most entertaining games of the weekend. Gladbach aim to build on a 3-1 win over Mainz and could adopt an attack-minded approach against Leipzig.
The Red Bulls, on the other hand, head into the match following back-to-back wins over Union Berlin and Eintracht Frankfurt.
Dutch Eredivisie
Sparta Rotterdam’s impressive unbeaten start to the new Eredivisie campaign continued last week with a 2-2 draw at Zwolle.
However, Ajax have won their previous two Eredivisie games too preparing themselves for another winnable game against the promoted side.
The visitors, however, have been susceptible at conceding away (three goals thus far) and could suffer from Rotterdam’s set-piece threat.

French Ligue 1
Lyon’s 1-0 midweek loss away to Montpellier ended their eight-game unbeaten run in Ligue 1.
Bordeaux on the other hand, have recorded only two victories across their last 12 away league fixtures though these two wins have come in the last three.
However, the fact that Bordeaux have failed to score in 12 of their last 20 top-flight away matches is also significant.
However, head-to-head results imply that they may have a great opportunity as they have scored 2.33 on average across their last three league one trips to Lyon.
