I cried for love

Describe yourself in three words?
(While smiling) I’m simple, sophisticated and outgoing

Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
I will be self employed, doing something media related like communications and marketing.

What is challenging about your job?
Every day is new and different, I have to come up with something fresh that is entertaining and relevant to listeners. So, we have to be updated about the entertainment industry in Uganda and also internationally.

What is your definition of a beautiful woman?
Beauty is internal. Someone’s looks matter, but inner beauty is more important and it is what compliments one’s outer beauty. A beautiful woman is one who is honest, generous, considerate, trustworthy, dependable and with a great personality.

What things about women make you wish you were one?
Multitasking and remaining good at all of them and remain sane. A woman can be working, a mother, a wife and also studying.

What fascinates you about women?
How long they take to prepare themselves for just an evening out.

Have you ever been heartbroken?
I have not been heartbroken, but I have been disappointed because of someone that I had a crush on but she ended up moving out with someone else. But I hadn’t made a move anyway.

What is the craziest thing you have done for love?
Crying because this person I was dating was leaving the country and I was not sure what the future would hold for us. This happened about three years ago.

What things do women do that nag you?
Dishonest women nag me as well as those who have a low self esteem. It makes many things go wrong and people can easily take advantage of that.

Which woman inspires you?
My mother me because she is very hardworking, honest and prayerful.

Who is your favourite female presenter on Radio and TV?
I like Irene Ochwo of Radio One. She is articulate, her style of presenting is classic and does not try so hard to sound good. I don’t watch TV a lot so I don’t know most of the presenters. But l like Josephine Kalungi a news anchor on NTV, she is a natural.

What would you do if a woman you find attractive hits on you?
(Laughs out loud) The moment she tells me I would laugh. That would be an interesting experience. I am still used to the old tradition of men making the first move. This new thing is still weird.

What would not you wear even if you were paid?
A kilt, I have tried once and I looked weird.
