Lecturer who crashed in Mbarara accident wanted to dance in church

Ms Maudah Atuzarirwe who died in a road accident on the Mbarara-Masaka highway, was returning to Kampala where she was to attend a monthly mass with colleagues from the Archdiocese of Mbarara (AMDA) that morning.

The lecturer at the Law Development Centre (LDC) and former head of Registry at the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB), was a member of the Archdiocese of Mbarara Development Association (AMDA) and on her death day, she was to be chief animator for the association’s mass at Kitante primary school.

AMDA Chaplain, Fr. Darius Magunda said the association was sad to have lost one it's vibrant and resourceful members.
Ms Maudah crashed in her Toyota Spacio after losing control due to a disruption from another car from the opposite direction that beamed full lights.

She was travelling with two other people who sustained minor injuries. Atuzarirwe leaves behind three children.

Ms Atuzarirwe was buried in Kantunda Bushenyi on Tuesday at a ceremony presided over by Fr. Robert Kakuru, the Parish Priest of Kitabi.
